Laceys are pleased to announce Byron Sims has now qualified as a Solicitor having completed his 2-year Training Contract with Laceys allowing him to gain hands-on experience across the firm and decide he wanted to specialise in Dispute Resolution.
Byron adds, “While doing my training contract, I realised that dispute resolution was the area of law for me. I applied for a position and was delighted to be offered the opportunity to transfer my training contract and qualify into this field at Laceys. Working in the dispute resolution team here has given me the chance to work closely with the partners specialising in employment, landlord and tenant, and civil litigation. I have gained invaluable experience and, now that I have qualified, feel confident to manage my own cases, while still knowing that I have strong support behind me.”
Mark Timberlake, Managing Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution added, “I am very pleased Byron decided to specialise in Dispute Resolution, focussing on employment and landlord and tenant disputes. He has already demonstrated himself as a very capable solicitor, and I am looking forward to seeing him take on new responsibilities and developing his career further with Laceys.”
The next available trainee position at Laceys will start in September 2021, we will be taking applications for this position from 1st June – 1st August 2019.
